This new interface, found on both the Nano and the Classic (the latter is now the moniker for the full-size, video-capable iPod), is less of wholesale change than it is a facelift. The interface update consists of two primary components: The introduction of Cover Flow for visually navigating through your album collection; and the repurposing of the white space on the right-hand side of the screen to introduce visual content previews. In fact, in my testing the new nanos screen is superior in terms of clarity and sharpness to that of the iPod classic, although the latter is easier to watch for longer periods thanks to its larger size. It worked perfectly with my 4 GB Nano 3rd Generation, but when I connected it to my 80 GB iPod Classic; I found one problem that sometimes occurred. I had about 40 GB of songs on it (about 12,000 songs), and it would sometimes quit speaking while scrolling through the huge list of songs and artists, and I had to reset it and start over.

We received the new 7th gen iPod, now called the classic, and the new (3rd gen) nano. Both function identically but the flash memory-based nano now resembles a squat version of the hard disk-based classic. The nano uses flash memory, but with a miniaturised version of the display screen and “click wheel” found on the iPod classic. The screen of the nano also shares the same resolution as the classic. The investment expert now anticipates an updated, lower-priced iPod nano in the near future on top of refreshes for both the iPod classic and iPod touch. Further details are unavailble, though Apple has traditionally increased capacities of the iPod in August or September as flash memory and hard drive technology improves; the company took the unusual step this year of doubling iPod touch capacity to 32GB just a few months after the product was introduced.

m audio socket on the base. I simply loaded my iPod with music, several classic books I’ve been meaning to read (I missed The Great Gatsby in school). I also loaded up a videotaped conference I needed to take notes from for work.
The spy photos are of the classic, rumor-enforcing poor quality but some colors could be recognized including light green, light blue and maybe a cranberry color along with 2 others that are said to be available when it’s released. The new Nano’s will come in 4GB and 8GB capacities and will have video capability. The iPod classic is available in 80GB and 120GB capacities for $169 and $209 each. This model looks much more like a miniature version of the iPod Classic. Its corners are rounded, and its edges fade to a sharp edge.

The iPod Nano is almost identical in height and width to its second-generation grandparent, bucking the wider-but-shorter design adopted for the third-generation model . When I saw the new iPod Nano, the first thing I thought of was the flash-based Zune from Microsoft. Now in its third generation, the iPod nano replaced the iPod Mini as a portable music player for people who want 4 or 8 gigs of music. Because of its small size, its screen and case are reportedly easily susceptible to damage. The battery life of the third generation Nano is exceptional. Cnet tests showed 29 hours of audio playback and 6.7 hours of video playback.

This generation iPod nanos is available in several bright colors among which blue, green, yellow, red and purple. You can choose from the 8GB version and the 16GB flash memory version. MP3 reviews Apple iPod Nano (2nd generation) and concludes that 2G Nano doesn’t really bring anything new to the table in the fast-advancing world of MP3 players, but the improvements over the original are certainly welcome. This player is sure to be a top choice among a wide range of users, and it’s a stellar option for first-timers. The 2nd generation iPod Nano harkens back to the iPod Mini with metallic, multi-colored shells (though as diminutive as ever) and comes in an 8 GB model. The Shuffle has been completely redesigned and shrunk down to the size of a matchbook.
Current-generation iPod touch models are available in 8GB ($179), 16GB ($259), and 32GB ($349) configurations while previous-generation options only include the 16GB model for $219, and the 32GB model for $279. The new Nano is better for viewing photos and video because it has a brighter screen than the first-generation model. Still, at just 1.5 inches, the screen isn’t well suited for extended viewing. It’s a more modern design and even the newly announced 5th generation iPods use this new look. The polycarbonate shell is also pretty strong although it flexes uncomfortably over the screen area.

The fourth generation nano comes up with high end technology. Aside from its 8GB to 16GB storage capacity, additional software and hardware components can be seen on the player. The display size and resolution has remained unchanged from the previous generation. First generation iPod Nano owners may have a little more to worry about than the simple fact their devices are going on three years old. Japan’s trade ministry recently blamed the battery in the 1st gen iPod nano’s for causing three fires.

So I get this notice in the mail the other day about an Apple 1st Generation iPod nano (yes, they spell it with a lowercase “n” – I never realized that). There was a class action lawsuit about an “excessive scratching” issue with this nano and that Apple failed to disclose the issue. These include the Mac OS X Dashboard, the design of the second-generation iPod nano, and an instant messaging-based file-sharing system. Apple’s today introduced the new fourth generation iPod nano, the thinnest iPod ever featuring a sleek new design with a curved aluminum and glass enclosure, in nine vibrant colors. The new iPod nano incorporates Apple’s breakthrough Genius technology which automatically creates playlists from songs in your music library that go great together, with just one click. I always liked the look of the 3rd generation, and I never liked the way the 1st and second generations looked. Now its even longer than the original ones? Aside from the ipod touch, the fourth-generation ipod nano is.

Think about all the generic buyers out there. If I buy a cheap car and it breaks down in 3 years, versus an expensive one that lasts 6 years, well, different quality for different products. The first and second generation iPods used the WM8721, while the 3G iPods and iPod mini used the WM8731L. Since the iPod nano uses the same audio codech chip as the 4G, U2, and iPod photo players, its sound quality will be nearly identical to those other players. With a splash of color – actually nine vibrant selections – Apple revved up for the holiday sales season with the unveiling of the 4th generation iPod nano earlier this month. Gone is the squat body of the 3rd generation.
Now, Apple has brought together the evolution of last year’s third-generation with an improvement on that slender and ‘old-style’ design. It comes in an Aluminum case now and is much thinner than the 1st generation of [tags]iPod [/tags]Nano . Battery life offers 24hrs nonstop and Gapless playback .

Are You Ready For A Committed Relationship

If you desire a long lasting, healthy, and fulfilling relationship with a partner whom you can share life with, then you need to arm yourself with the knowledge of attracting your highest and best partner who will align with who you are. Intimacy

Closeness with a person takes time to develop. And there’s more to intimacy than physical contact. Intimacy can mean a hug during a tough time, a smile of encouragement in the face of adversity and compassion when you least feel like giving. Don’t abuse or take advantage or the other person. And don’t let yourself be abused or taken advantage of. Intimacy takes commitment and sharing. Ask yourself if you will be willing and patient enough to take time to develop closeness with another person. If you find that you cannot even handle your own emotions during a tough time, then it is almost a sure sign you need to work on yourself more before you even commit to a relationship.

Are you able to say “No”?

You don’t always have to be voiceless or agree with someone in a relationship. Be able to say, “No” and be an individual, too. Ask yourself if you will be able to maintain your unique individuality while in a relationship. Do you find it hard to be alone at times when your partner is not around? Do you find yourself fearful of saying “No” when you really mean it? If you find you have a tendency to shift your centre and focus onto another person to the extreme, then, you would need to work around this and bring about a balance for yourself and your partner. Being in a relationship does not mean you have to change for another person. It does mean giving your partner space, and giving yourself space. Remember you are sharing life together, not taking charge of the other person’s life!

Do you find keeping in touch a hassle?

Many couples tend to make the mistakes of taking each other for granted after a certain period into a relationship. We tend to get so caught up in our work life that we forget that we need to make the effort to keep our relationship alive too. Don’t let life separate you too long. With technology today, you can stay in touch with cell phones and email. No need to overdo it and be obsessive and controlling, but do stay in touch off and on throughout the day with quick “Hellos” and “How are things going?”. Make the Honeymoon Last. Remember how your felt when you first got together? Do those little things that you did at the beginning and make the honeymoon last. Bring home fresh flowers, shut off the television, turn on some music and dance with your mate, compliment your mate, make dates to go to places you used to frequent (the old neighborhood pizza parlor, a local drive in, a hotel you went to on your honeymoon, etc.). If after reading all these you find these are all hassles, then, you are not ready for a committed relationship.

Nuts and Bolts

Don’t focus so much on the “nuts and bolts” of who said what, when, how often and why they were wrong…. In other words, sometimes during an argument, try losing your memory of who did what, when and how many times in the past. Instead, humble yourself, apologize for having messed up and hug your mate! If you feel you’ve been pushed to the limit and don’t want to try one more time, close the door on that angle of the issue. Take a walk, get some ice cream and cool off (literally). Then return relaxed and refreshed, and open a window to air differences.

Trust

Healthy relationships involve people who trust one another. One person doesn’t get involved in unhealthy risks with a third party or lie to the other. There is an open, positive exchange of trust. So if this is lacking, seek help from a professional counselor, if necessary, and see what’s wrong. If you feel stuck in past emotional issues or you find yourself unable to forget your ex from a past failing relationship, you need to resolve this before you think about going into a committed relationship.

Are you ready for a committed relationship? Are you ready to settle down? If you meet someone you like today, would you be ready and available for them? The above considerations may help you to decide on just this.
